Toenail Fungus Laser Treatment

The toenail fungus laser treatment uses state-of-the-art technology to target and kill ugly toenail fungus. Patients suffering from toenail fungus usually have a nail infection in the nail bed which causes mild discoloration and thickening of the nail. The laser works by vaporizing the fungal DNA. Once treated using the toenail fungus laser treatment, the toenail fungus can no longer grow and cause infection in the nail bed. The toenail fungus laser treatment is completed in a single 15-30 minute session, does not damage healthy nail or skin and there is minimal recovery time.
The treatment offers a new alternative to oral medication, which carries a risk of liver damage, and a nail lacquer, which has poor efficacy.
The procedure begins working instantly, with positive results appearing quickly as the toenail begins to grow out. After the laser treatment most patients immediately put on (clean) socks and shoes, walk right out the door and return to their daily activity.

What to Expect
Prior to the toenail fungus laser treatment, please come in with all your toenails trimmed, nail polish removed and bring a clean pair of sox. The total toenail fungus laser treatment time is approximately 15 to 30 minutes. The treatment is painless and requires no anesthesia. Following the toenail fungus laser treatment, patients must provide consistent hygiene of the feet to experience a good long term result. Most patients will improve after a single treatment showing clear nail growth and very few require more than one treatment. The laser toenail funugs removal procedures require one or a small number of safe, quick treatments with little or no discomfort. The toenail laser fungus treatment is performed as an outpatient service with no anesthesia. The particular laser that your physician will use operates in the same manner with some differences in the specifics of how the fungus is targeted. The gentle laser light beam has no effect on healthy tissue and will treat only the infected area of the toenail. No drugs or topical ointments are used in the laser toenail fungus removal treatment, eliminating the total-body side effects of traditional oral medications.

What is the Success Rate?
Clinical studies to date reveal that over 95% of treated patients with the Aerolase Neo are satisfied with a single session. We do recommend getting all 10 toenails treated. On certain social marketing promotions we offer to treat Five toenails. PLEASE NOTE: If you choose the FIVE toe promotion, ALL OF THE TOENAILS MUST BE ON THE SAME FOOT! The reason why is the fungus is like any living organism, it eats and reproduces. The food it consumes is the tissue of your toenail. The fungus is actively sending spores through the immediate area and will eventually manifest on the other toes.

Will I Be Cured Forever?
Laser toenail fungus treatment is not a cure. A fungal infection is fungus living in cracks and pores of your toenail. If a lifestyle change is not made (throw your old shoes out, wear protective foot gear in all public places) the fungi will return to the nails. Therefore laser toenail fungal treatment is part of an overall protocol which will be provided at your treatment.

Who Qualifies?
Generally there are no health or age restrictions with laser toenail fungus treatments. In most clinical studies there were no bad reactions, contraindications or side effects involving our treatments.
If you are pregnant or lactating, have active cancer or herpes, please contact your treating physician for a letter or email approval of the procedure.

What lasers are the right lasers?
I've seen 10Watt lightbulb advertised as a laser.

The Truth About Toenail Fungus: "Watts" the Story
Don't be fooled! All toenail fungus is treatments are not equal. Successful elimination of your toenail fungus requires the proven difference between a 15,000 watt LASER and a 10 watt light bulb (which is 1/3 the power of your refrigerator light).
Yes, many "Specialî Offers" recently published (and unfortunately purchased by consumers) propose to treat deep-rooted toenail fungus with a 10 watt light bulb rather than the 15,000 watt Neo laser. Itís not rocket science but it IS proven science that the Neo Laser is the most effective, one-time, safe treatment available to kill toenail fungus. Both are FDA approved but only one is recognized as the state-of-the-art, most effective way to give you the toes you deserve.
When it comes to non-invasive cosmetic treatments, the truth matters. This includes the fact that many people who believe they suffer from toenail fungus actually have a bacteria or virus that is not proven to be treatable by even the Neo Laser. This is why we perform a quick, 10-minute, non-invasive and FREE test to confirm whether you have toenail fungus. If you do, the 12-minute Neo Laser treatment will set your toes free! If not, your money is refunded and you walk-away with the truth. We do this because a knowledgeable consumer is a live long customer.
So why pay the same or even more for "special offers" that delivers less? Walk around our site and learn the truth about toenail fungus treatments because your toes will thank your fingers for choosing this toenail fungus treatment offer.

How Long before my toenails are healthy?
The average personís toenails will regrow every 6 to 9 months. Most people will see healthy new growth within 3 months. Your treatment professional will give you a follow up protocol. She or he may recommend a supplementary cream compounded with L-arginine.
The use of L-arginine has shown an increase of up to 100% in the speed of nail growth.
Will I be able to walkout after the Aerolse Neo laser treatment? Will I need a ride?
Of course! You will be able to walkout, just as well as you walked in. Except you will have a smile on your face!

Will it hurt?
Did you know toenails and fingernails are dead cells? There are no nerve cells in them. Our expert technicians will precisely target the living fungus inside the nail. The technicians are experienced and will often ask you if you are experiencing any discomfort. Often times it will feel hot and youíll need a break. That is fine, we do not rush you through, also the technician will adjust the laser settings accordingly.
