Fran E. Cook-Bolden, M.D., is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, which means she is a board-certified dermatologist. Dr. Cook-Bolden specializes in the practice of dermatology and dermatologic surgery, cosmetic and laser surgery, and is the Director of the Skin Specialty Group and the Ethnic Skin Specialty Group.
Dr. Cook-Bolden participates in cutting edge research. She lectures regularly at local, national, and international conferences. She maintains several professional affiliations, including an appointment to the board of The Dermatologic Society of Greater New York, and is currently an assistant clinical professor of dermatology at Columbia University in New York.
She is the co-author of BEAUTIFUL SKIN OF COLOR: A Comprehensive guide to Asian, Olive and Dark Skin.
Brigitte A. Holder, M.D.

Brigitte A. Holder, M.D., graduated from Pace University where she received a bachelor of science degree. She received her medical degree from the State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate Medical Center. Dr. Holder completed a residency in internal medicine at Brown University in Providence, RI, and her dermatology residency at SUNY Downstate. During her residency training, Dr. Holder did research in tropical medicine at the Brooklyn Veterans' Administration, on malaria in Uganda, Africa at the national Institutes of Health and research at Rockefeller University, and worked extensively with a wide variety of skin types. She has experience in treating skin diseases in people from diverse backgrounds with different skin types. Additionally, she has a strong background in dermatologic disease in adult, pediatric, and adolescent age groups.
Kim Nichols, M.D.

Kim Nichols, MD is a cum laude graduate from Harvard University. She received her medical degree from New York University School of Medicine. Dr. Nichols completed her residency training in dermatology at the King Drew - Harbor/UCLA Medical Centers, where she acted as chief resident in her last year. There she trained in the medical and surgical treatment of patients of all backgrounds, ranging from skin cancer screening and surgery to laser therapy in skin of color. While in practice, Dr. Nichols has provided comprehensive care to both pediatric and adult patients in general dermatology, skin cancer surgery and cosmetic treatments. She performs a wide range of cosmetic procedures such as Botox, fillers, laser treatments, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and sclerotherapy.
