Introducing the Hydrafacial
Don't miss out on the special introductory rate!
THINK: Exfoliation, purification, hydration and smoothing in one 15-minute treatment.
What is it???
The dermatologists of Skin Specialty Dermatology are the first in the New York area to offer the HydraFacial™. The only hydradermabrasion procedure that combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration and antioxidant protection, HydraFacial™ delivers immediately clearer, more beautiful skin.
Using a serum-based resurfacing system, HydraFacial provides results comparable to chemical peels and microdermabrasion without discomfort or downtime. A vacuum-based skin abrasion tip removes dead skin cells and impurities while bathing the healthy underlying skin with deep cleansing, extracting, exfoliating and antioxidant serums. The proprietary serums are clinically formulated to improve the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, congested and enlarged pores, oily or acne-prone skin, hyperpigmentation and brown spots in as little as 15 minutes.
Soothing, moisturizing, non-invasive and non-irritating, the HydraFacial is often described as feeling like "a cool paintbrush moving over the face." After receiving treatment, patients can apply makeup and return to their normal activities right away. The HydraFacial procedure is safe for most skin types and colors, including thin or aging skin, ethnic skin, and dry skin or oily skin. Even the most sensitive complexions can easily tolerate the HydraFacial™ treatment. Dr. Cook-Bolden's team can customize the treatment and choose specific treatment serums for each individual's unique skin conditions and needs.
Many people report seeing visible skin refinement and even, radiant skin tone after just one treatment. The smooth results and hydration can last 5 to 7 days or even longer. A series of 6 treatments is recommended for improving the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, hyperpigmentation, acne and oily skin. After an initial series of treatments, patients may want to maintain results with a HydraFacial™ treatment every 2 to 4 weeks.
